There is a vibrant local art and food community in the surrounding Amesbury area with a demand for a pop-up marketplace event - and celebration! Amesbury Community Marketplace is celebration of local art, farms and businesses - including but not limited to local artists, chefs, bakers, farmers, markers, educators, musicians, and so much more.
As a 2024 grant-recipient of the @amesburyculturalcouncil , Amesbury Market Daze and @barewolfbrewing are hosting a day-long vendor market on the Saturday of Mother's Day weekend before the New England farmers market season starts. This is the beginning of an annual event in celebration of shopping small and local, bringing community together and creating an anticipated event for surrounding Amesbury.
We will feature over 50 local vendors, local non-profits, kids' activities, education, and live music. We want to add to the placemaking of Amesbury, Massachusetts: to create a public event and space that all can collaboratively live, work, play and learn.
